Ingredients

  • 1 pkt Dancing Chef Pineapple Rice Paste
  • 3 rice cups Rice
  • 150g Chinese sausage (sliced)
  • 1 ½ cup Pineapple cubes (diced)
  • Unsalted Chicken stock/water (to the water mark of 3 according to your rice cooker)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic (chopped)
  • ¼ teaspoon Tumeric powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar (optional)
Garnishing
  • 1 small Cucumber (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander (chopped)
  • ½ cup Fried shallots ½ cup Crispy chicken floss (optional)

Directions

  1. Wash rice thoroughly and drain it. Put rice into the rice cooker.
  2. Add butter, pineapple paste, tumeric powder, sugar and chicken broth/water. Cook as usual.
  3. Once cooked, fluff rice with fork. Let it cool down.
  4. Heat pan with oil, saute garlic and Chinese sausage until aromatic. Add in the fluffed rice and pineapple cubes. Mix well.
  5. Sauté the rice until fragrant. Add in garnishing when done.
