Dancing Grilled BBQ Sate Chicken

Tips: You can use an oven grill to make these BBQ Dancing Sate chicken or heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp oil per batch and spread it all over the pan. Cook at medium heat until it’s well done or turns golden brown in color.

Ingredients

  • 8 deboned skin-on chicken thighs
  • Sate Seasoning Mix
  • 1 pkt Dancing Chef Thai Pineapple Fried Rice Paste
  • 1 Bombay onion (grated)
  • 3 tbsp kecap manis
  • 4 tbsp palm sugar
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil

Directions

  1. Place chicken pieces in a large bowl. Rub Sate seasoning mix between skin and meat side.
  2. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or up to 24 hours. Remove chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess marinade.
  3. Lightly grease grill’s cooking plates with cooking spray before placing the chicken on the grill.
  4. Serve grilled chicken and garnish with cucumber slices and sate rice cubes.
